Look for the Australian Olive Oil Association Quality Seal. It’s a guarantee of quality and compliance with the International Standard of Olive Oil. Check that the oil clearly states the ingredients, country of origin and Best Before Date.

Why does olive oil vary in colour and flavour?

Colour and flavour varies depending on the variety of olives and the region they’re grown. The colour can range from pale yellow to deep green and the taste can vary from smooth, mild and buttery to fruity, peppery and robust.

Which olive oil flavour should I choose for my dishes?
